Cheesecakes were a bit of a fail, but my sister and I still ate them. The weather was a bit chilly today (probably because of Hurricane 

        Isaac), so it was nice to have hot tea and sweets outdoors. 

      Last little vaca before school- fishing at Carolina Beach. And last song obsession of the summer (thanks to the Olympics)- Rule the World.

     Took a day trip to Norfolk, VA with my family and the clouds were extra fluffy. Wish I could lay on one
     with Over the Rainbow playing in the background.

     One of my favorite things about fall is all the scrumptious and warm desserts! But it doesn't hurt to make
     some during the summer either ;)...like this spiced pear upside-down cake.

     This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with 
     you, for all future generations: I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant

     After a storm is such a magical moment. Brand New Breeze is also quite magical.
