I attempted making pandesal (popular Philippine bread roll also known as salt bread) this week and it turned out pretty good...after three tries. On a related food note, I found a dangerous microwaveable brownie mug recipe. Dangerous because it takes a total of 5 minutes/5 ingredients to make = lots and lots of brownies. I've also been watching this ridiculously cute show about patissières making delicious looking cakes, tarts, chocolates, and everything sweet you could possibly think of. I couldn't watch it without having some kind of dessert. >.< It's been a sweets filled week! :)
After four long years of waiting, it's finally the Olympics again! I'm looking forward to watching football, tennis, swimming, synchronized swimming, gymnastics, trampoline, diving, athletics...okay fine ALL of them!
Which sport(s) are you looking forward to watch?

I think after cake, home made rice krispy treats are my favorite dessert. My sister and I finally
made some yesterday and it was uh.may.zeeng. Unlike cake batter though, I realized that you
can't really lick the spoon or your fingers since they stick to everything like glue! If I didn't have
to share, I would have eaten the whole batch!
I can't stop listening to "Cough Syrup" by Young the Giant. Replay, replay, replay.

After breakfast, afternoon snack time is my favorite meal of the day. Yes, my snacks are so
large that they constitute as meals. My little sister made this snack yesterday that I just had to
share--mango vanilla yogurt with mango chunks. yum! I would totally share the recipe, but she
said she just threw ingredients into a blender and voila (but I'm pretty sure it's just mango and vanilla yogurt
with a pinch of turbinado sugar)! So this picture is the only thing left of this scrumptious dessert snack.
