Hello New York City! Where buildings grow alongside trees.

Central Park
Here are a couple of beautiful tunes: Earth Prelude and Fly by Ludovico Einaudi. My sister and I played Fly every time we drove through a tunnel, making our road trip a little bit more magical.

To the mountains and ocean we go.
One of the things I love about  living in the middle of NC is that you can go to the mountains and to the beach within a couple of hours.

Kure Beach

Lake Lure

A few summer tunes that I can't stop replaying: Minor Cause, A Walk, and good ol' Cat Stevens and Billy Joel

La Paz; Cochabamba; Asanquiri, Bolivia

Hello Summer.

I spent the beginning of my summer in Bolivia building a rainwater harvesting system (more on the project here) with Engineers Without Borders NCSU. Seriously one of the best experiences of my life. Also helped that the six people I traveled with are some of the best the world!

It's a spring kind of week. Too bad spring break is over. One of my courses covers stream restoration, so it's interesting to explore streams with a whole new perspective. :)

feeling a bit homesick, other home that is

This picture makes me laugh. We're either looking at fish or a jellyfish.

 precious, precious ice water

more so than the food; malls, a.k.a sky scrapers; hot weather; monkey; palm trees; and crystal clear water, I miss the people. Especially my relatives.
